nagping mobile app
privacy policy
Effective and last updated:
For people aged 16 and older. Learn what we collect, how sharing works, and how to access or delete your information.
This policy explains how Aerimak Business Solutions Private Limited handles personal information when you use the Nagping iPhone and Android apps, their Apple Watch companion features, and the account services that connect your devices. Feature availability depends on your app version and device.
1. Who is responsible
Aerimak Business Solutions Private Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. In data-protection law, this role is commonly called the data controller.
Address: 213 Radha Krishna Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440008, India.
Privacy contact: privacy@nagping.com
The Nagping marketing website has its own website privacy notice. This mobile policy also explains account information shared with the Nagping web app when you sign in to the same account.
2. Who can use nagping
Nagping is intended for people aged 16 and older. Children under 16 must not create an account or use the service. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
If you are 16 or 17, please review this policy with a parent or legal guardian. Any parental permission or verified parental consent required by the law that applies to you must be obtained before the relevant data processing begins. The minimum age of 16 does not replace those requirements.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information contrary to these requirements can contact privacy@nagping.com. We will review the concern, verify what is necessary, and take appropriate action, including removing information where required.
3. Information we process
Using the app without an account
You can use supported device-only features without signing in. Your reminders, notes, timers, counters, settings and history are stored on your device. Existing guest content stays separate from your account unless you choose to import it. Your operating system may include local app data in device backups, according to its settings.
Account and saved content
When you sign in, we process your email address, account identifier, verification and session information. We use an email code to help confirm that the account belongs to you.
Account data can include reminder titles and descriptions, links and notes, dates, time zones, repeat rules, completion history, snooze actions, lists, Inbox ideas, timer presets and running timer state, countdowns, count-ups, and sound or notification preferences. We save changes and technical sync information so supported devices can keep the same account up to date.
Sharing and Pings
If you use shared lists or Pings, we process the email addresses used for invitations, names or email addresses shown to other participants, invitation responses, memberships, connection status, selected Ping messages, timestamps, read status, and mute or block preferences. We may receive your email address from someone who invites you. An invitation does not automatically make you a member of a shared list or an accepted Ping connection.
Devices and service operation
When you enable remote updates, we process a device installation identifier, push token, platform information and notification preferences to send updates to the correct device. Service providers also process connection and operational information, such as IP addresses, request times, delivery results and error logs, to deliver and protect the service.
We process your messages and any information you choose to send when you contact support or exercise a privacy right. Please avoid including unrelated personal information in support messages.
Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription through the Nagping web checkout, Razorpay processes the payment details you provide. We process account-linked subscription and transaction references, plan, currency, payment status, billing periods, cancellation and refund information. Nagping does not receive your full card number or card security code through this integration.
Sensitive information and device access
The app does not need access to your contacts, photos, precise GPS location or health records for its current core functions. A time-zone choice is not GPS tracking. Information you type into notes or reminders may still be sensitive. Avoid storing passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or unnecessary health information in Nagping.
4. Why we use personal information
We use the information needed to sign you in; save and synchronise your content; run reminders and timers; deliver optional notifications; provide sharing and Pings you request; manage subscriptions; answer support requests; prevent abuse; resolve errors; and handle legal obligations or claims.
For people covered by the GDPR, core service processing generally relies on performance of a valid contract, security and abuse prevention on legitimate interests balanced against your rights, and legally required processing on the applicable legal obligation. Where processing requires consent, we must obtain it separately and you can withdraw it. Accepting this policy is not blanket consent to every use of your data.
5. When information is shared
Private account content is not made public by default. When you put an item in a shared list, other authorised participants can see the shared content, including its notes and links. Your identity may be visible in invitations and connections. Check the recipients before sharing. Copies someone has already exported or captured may remain outside our control after you remove access.
We use service providers for the following functions. They receive the information needed for those functions, depending on the features you use. Providers must protect personal information under the contracts and legal requirements that apply to their role.
| Provider or service | Purpose and relevant information |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Account authentication, database storage and device sync. Account identifiers, email, saved content and technical records. |
| Resend | Delivery of sign-in and other service emails. Recipient email, message content and delivery information. |
| Expo push service and Apple or Google push networks | Optional remote notifications. Push tokens, routing identifiers, generic update payloads and delivery results. |
| Razorpay | Web subscription payments. Checkout information plus subscription, payment and refund records. |
| Vercel and Cloudflare | Hosting for associated web services and public pages when opened. Connection and request information. |
| Apple and Google device services | Operating-system notifications, device backups and other platform features you choose. Their own privacy settings and notices also apply. |
We may disclose information when legally required or when necessary and lawful to investigate misuse, protect people or services, or establish or defend legal claims. Access should be limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use your reminder content to train AI models. The current app does not include third-party advertising or behavioural analytics integrations.
6. Notifications and optional device features
Local reminders and alarms are scheduled on your device. Their titles may appear on the lock screen or a paired watch, depending on your settings. Remote Pings and shared-list updates use generic notification text; you open the signed-in app to see the associated content. A notice already in transit may still arrive after you turn it off or sign out.
You control notification permission, sound, time-sensitive alerts and precise-alarm access through available app and device settings. Denying a permission can limit that feature. Where Siri, Shortcuts or dictation is available, Apple handles voice input and Nagping receives the text or reminder parameters passed to it. The app does not use these features for continuous microphone recording.
7. Storage and protection
Saved content and pending changes can be stored in a local device cache. Signed-in content also passes to our account services for synchronisation. The native app stores session credentials using the device secure-storage service and sends account requests over encrypted HTTPS connections. Account access controls help separate users’ information. No service or device can be guaranteed completely secure.
Data exports are readable JSON files, not encrypted backups. Anyone who obtains an export may be able to read it. When you choose a destination through your device share menu, that destination may upload the file to its own service.
Aerimak is based in India. Providers may process information in countries other than where you live. International transfers subject to the GDPR require a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, together with additional measures where needed. Contact privacy@nagping.com for information about processing locations and applicable safeguards, including a copy where available.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep active account content while it is needed to provide your account and the features you use, or until you delete it or request account deletion, subject to necessary legal exceptions. Completing or archiving an item does not necessarily erase its history. Deleting an individual item can leave a technical deletion record needed to synchronise devices and prevent an old offline copy from recreating it.
Technical identifiers and fingerprints of previous actions may remain until account deletion to prevent the same action from happening twice. Some action records can also retain a copy of submitted content temporarily. These copies become eligible for removal after 30 days during maintenance and can be removed earlier when storage limits are reached. This does not mean every copy is erased exactly 30 days after an action.
Security, support and payment records may need to be kept for the time necessary to investigate an incident, resolve a request or dispute, or meet a legal recordkeeping obligation. Retention depends on the record, its purpose and the applicable requirement. Restricted provider backups may keep deleted information until their configured retention cycle expires.
How to delete your account
In a supported signed-in mobile app, open Settings, find Your account data, and choose Delete account. Verify the new email code and type DELETE when asked to confirm. Account deletion removes the account and associated active account data. Shared lists you own and shared reminders you authored can be removed for other members too.
If you have an active web subscription, the current service requires confirmed subscription cancellation before account deletion can proceed. Manage it in the web app under Settings → Plan & billing. Contact privacy@nagping.com if cancellation or deletion is blocked, or if you cannot access your account. A technical blocker does not remove your statutory privacy rights.
Request deletion without opening the app: email privacy@nagping.com with the subject “Delete my Nagping account”. Send the request from your account email if possible, or identify the account so we can verify the request. Do not send your password or sign-in codes. The retention and verification details in this section apply to email requests too.
Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your cloud account. Device-only guest data, exports you saved, operating-system backups and copies held by other people are separate. Offline devices may retain cached content or scheduled alerts until they reconnect or you clear their local data. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You can edit saved content, adjust notification settings, choose what to share, mute or block Ping connections, and use the available export and deletion controls. Turning off optional notifications does not itself delete account content. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it through the relevant setting or by contacting us; this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of your information, correct it, request erasure, restrict certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive eligible data in a portable format. These rights can be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. We do not make solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Send requests to privacy@nagping.com. Tell us which account and request are involved. We will ask only for information reasonably needed to verify and handle the request. GDPR requests generally require a response within one month; if a permitted extension is necessary, we will explain it within that period.
You can complain to the data-protection authority in your country of residence, work or the place of an alleged infringement where the GDPR applies. You do not need to contact us first. For users in India, applicable data-protection and grievance rights apply according to the provisions in force. You can send privacy concerns to the same contact address.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our services, data practices or legal requirements change. The published policy will show its effective or last-updated date. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required. New processing that requires consent must receive that consent before it starts.

A short explanation for younger users
You must be at least 16 to use Nagping. Your account saves things you ask the app to remember. If you share a list, other members can read the notes and links in it. Keep passwords and private documents out of reminders. You can turn notifications off, export your data or ask us to delete your account. If something about privacy worries you, ask a trusted adult to help or email privacy@nagping.com.
